Founder, owner and head chef, Mrs Davy (Dar-vee) Souvannavong developed her exquisite cooking abilities as she grew up helping her mother cook for her family of 3 boys and 4 girls in the heart of Laos, Vientiane. Whether it is an entire banquet, or a simple sauce, she takes endless care in the preparation of the meals offered, maintaining a close attention to detail and always going to lengths to ensure only the most supreme tastes are created.
After receiving many compliments and much encouragement from family and friends, Lao-Thai Luammit was created and has successfully run for over 13 years. We believe that people love eating at this restaurant especially because of our authentic dishes, original tastes and family atmosphere.
