The Calliope Historical Village Markets are held on a regular basis along the banks of the Calliope River only 26 kilometres from Gladstone and 100 kilometres south of Rockhampton! A lovely relaxed markets with something to suit the whole family.
Grab a drink or a bite to eat and sit with your family under the shady trees. Bring the kids along for a ride on the famous miniature train or just come along to view the abundance of homewares, fresh produce, plants and bric-a-brac for sale.
While there don't forget to visit the village's historic buildings and spend some time looking at the interesting displays including the Calliope River Railway Display.
The Markets run from 8am to 12pm and the Clyde Hotel is licensed on Market days. The variety of food and drink stalls cater for the needs of hungry and thirsty visitors.
